Speaking Tips

For your recording, there are some tips to follow:
- Take your time. Sometimes pauses and silence are a good thing allowing the audience to digest your information.
- If you are reading from a script, consider using a teleprompter or keep your script close to the camera and at eye level. As soon as you look away from the camera, the audience is wondering what you are looking at and you can lose interest.
- Lighting is really important to ensure the guests can see who you are. Place a light or lamp near the camera or sit near a window for natural lighting.
- Ensure the camera is at eye level so the guests are not looking down or up at you. Eye level is the most comfortable view for an audience to stay engaged.
- Please consider connecting your computer directly to the router via cable. This will help ensure little or no interruptions or lagging in the streaming or video recording process.
