ABOUT THE INDIGENOMICS 1O TO WATCH LIST

The  Indigenomics 10 to Watch List   demonstrates excellence, innovation, leadership and committed action towards the growth of the Indigenous economy. The annual list highlights Indigenous businesses, partnerships, ventures, economic development corporations, governments, investors and initiatives that are innovating in growing the $100 billion dollar national annual Indigenous economy.

The Indigenomics '10 To Watch' is Indigenomics in Action. We are honoured to share the business stories of resilience and determination. Through their innovation, our past recipients are reaching global markets and customers. We are thrilled to capture their story and celebrate our collective success.   

10 To Watch Criteria:
o   Nominee can be an initiative, program, government, investment, partnership, economic development corporation or entrepreneur that demonstrate direct business benefits to Indigenous businesses or communities.
 
10 To Watch Nomination Categories:

Deadline for Nomination and or Application
Letters of nomination, and completion of the online form are due March 1, 2022.

As a Nominator
Submitting a nomination is a great way to recognize your favourite Indigenous business or partner.  You are required to provide a letter about why the business deserves to be nominated in the appropriate category. We will connect to the nominated company, so that they can share and celebrate the acknowledgement.  The nominee will be offered the opportunity to complete an online nomination form and potentially be recognized as one of our “10 to Watch”.

As a Nominee or Self-Nominee
This is your opportunity to share your Indigenomics success story, so that others can learn more about your business and journey.  You are required to submit a letter of interest for a self nomination and complete an online nomination form in the appropriate category, to have an opportunity be profiled in our multi-media promotional campaign. 

As a Finalist
If selected as a finalist, your business or partnership will gain recognition as an Indigenomics innovator and join other leading businesses with the distinction of growing the 100 Billion Dollar Indigenous economy. We commit to the following.
  • A special profile in the Indigenomics Institute publications
  • Your business and or partnership will be profiled in our multi-media promotional campaign
  • Recognition at the annual Indigenomics Institute Conference Gala, including a video profile
  • A commemorative gift and our logo to display, post on your website, or promotional materials.

The ’10 to Watch List’ serves to showcase Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs, Indigenous Economic Development Corporations, joint partnerships with nations and innovative business models that are demonstrating the advancement of the emerging 100 billion dollar annual Indigenous economy.
